Govt. of West Bengal has introduced 'Jai Johar Scheme'- a social security scheme - for all ST people with age of 60 years and above. Rs. 1,000/- per month is provided to the beneficiaries through DBT Mode. The scheme has been rolled out from 01.04.2020. Presently almost 3 lakh beneficiaries have been brought under the fold of the scheme.
